Fate's Willing Farm is a small urban agriculture experiment located near the Willamette Valley at the foothills of the Cascade mountains. It started out as only an idea, but quickly multiplied into far more than that.
The Farm is run by a single college student pursuing degrees in Anthropology and Animal Science, who found that the earth had a lot more to teach her than any professor. Currently the rabbitry is host to many amazing (and some grand champion) French and Satin Angora rabbits, and a small selection of meat rabbits. Does are bred from time to time throughout the year to produce more wonderful fiber, meat and show animals, and occasionally there is someone for sale. Certain colors are specially bred for: Black, Tortoise Shell, Fawn, Red, Chestnut, Blue, Red-Eyed White and (coming soon) Blue-Eyed White. There is also the infrequent litter of brokens (or white rabbits with colored spots).
The Urban IS Amazing garden is a newer accomplishment at the farm, and will start to feature even more edible plants and flowers as the season progresses. Also, chicks will soon be arriving! Check the blog for weekly updates on current happening.
